Proximity Control Proximity Control A proximity sensor ships with each SP-SW5100-VUHD. This devices measures heat in the pre- sentation space. If there is nobody in the presentation space and the display is still turned on, the switcher will wait 2-10 minutes before shutting the display off. The number of minutes is set using a rotary dial on the proximity sensor itself.
Reset Reset By touching the “Reset Device” button, the SP-SW5100-VUHD will be reset similar to a person turning off the power and then turning the power back on. However, this event can be achieved using software. When a reset occurs, the SP-SW5100-VUHD uses the last-stored settings of the switcher. This means that the switcher will try to restore inputs, resolution, and audio settings to the way they were prior to the reset.
Restore System to Factory Defaults The “Factory Def” or factory defaults button restores all factory detault settings that were used when the SP-SW5100-VUHD was first sent to the customer then performs a software reset. However, this function does not reset the LAN Settings.
