Auto Defrost; Multistage Cooking; Setting Child Lock - RCA RMW987 Manual

·During defrosting program, the system will pause
and sound to remind users to turn food over, after
that touch START/QUICK START to resume the
defrosting.
· After setting SPEED DEFROST, oven can be
programmed to automatically switch to one or
two-stage cooking.
·For speed defrost and one or two stage cooking,
follow steps above. Before touching START/QUICK
START, touch MULTI STAGE COOKING; enter time
and power level and then touch START/QUICK
START.

UTO DEFROST
The oven could be used to food on the weight you
entered. The defrosting time and power level are
automatically set once the weight is programmed.
The weight varies between 1oz～64oz.
FOR EXAMPLE: Suppose you want to defrost 48oz
of shrimp.
1. Place the shrimp to be defrosted into the oven.
2. Press AUTO DEF. button once
3. Turn MENU/ TIME dial to indicate weight 48oz.
4. Press START/QUICK START button.

ULTISTAGE COOKING
Some recipes may require setting a multi-stage
program involving speed defrost program.
For microwave cooking, just can be programmed for
2 automatic cooking sequences. While there has
speed defrost, your oven can be programmed for up
to 3 automatic cooking sequences.
Suppose you want to set the following cooking
program.
Speed defrost
Microwave cooking
Microwave cooking
Input speed defrost program.
1.
Press MULTI STAGE COOKING button.
2.
Set the first stage microwave-c ooking program.
3.
Press MULTI STAGE COOKING button.
4.
Set the second stage microwave-cooking
5.
program.
Touch START/QUICK START button.
6.
NOTE: If you need a two-stage microwave-cooking
program, omit the step 1 and step 2.
SPEED FEFROST can be only set in the first stage
of the program, AUTO DEFROST and AUTO COOK
cannot be set in multi-stage cooking program.

ETTING CHILD LOCK
The child lock prevents unsupervised operation by
children.
To set: Press and hold STOP/CANCEL for 3
seconds. Lock indication appears on the display.
To cancel: Press and hold STOP/CANCEL for 3
seconds. Lock indication disappears.
