Before first Use

Clean all parts of the unit as described below under "Cleaning" on page 10 before
using it for the first time.
Assembling the Juicer
1. Place the motor unit (8) on a steady and level surface. To avoid personal
injuries never touch the juicing net when handling the accessories, during
operation or on the assembled unit.
2. Place the juice net holder (4) on the motor unit (8) in such a way, that the
ejection opening slots in the matching notch of the motor unit.
3. Carefully insert the juicing net (3) into the juice net holder (4) and turn the
holder slightly to the left or right until the holder locks in the rotor (7).
4. Place the funnel lid with splash guard (2) on the juice net holder namely
opposite to the ejection opening (11).
Pay attention that the splash guard encloses the sideway guides of the pulp
spouts (12).
5. Tilt up the carrying handle / safety loop (5) and press it into the corresponding
holders on the funnel lid.
The unit is equipped with a safety appliance. The unit does not start, when the
handle is not clamped on the funnel lid and the juicer net does not sit accurate-
ly.
6. Push the pomace container (6) below the pulp spout (12). Here, as well, the
splash guard should enclose the seam of the pomace container.
Hint: To minimise the cleaning effort, coat the pomace container with a suited
bag. You collect the pomace in the bag and dispose of in an easy and com-
fortable way.
7. Place the juice collecting tank (9) in front of the ejection opening (11).
8. Plug the power plug into a wall socket. Use the turn-switch (13) as follows:
0 = Stop
I = Low Speed
II = High Speed
