temporarily. Therefore, do not place the solar stainless steel lights near
porch lights, wall lights, motion detectors, street lights etc.
1. Find a suitable location with direct sunlight.
2. Insert the ground stakes vertically in the ground. Do not beat with a
hammer or similar on the ground stake. Place the solar lamp heads on
the ground stakes.
3. Make sure that direct sunlight shines on the solar module for at least
8 hours a day in order to fully charge the built-in battery.
At nightfall the solar stainless steel lights automatically will light up.
Troubleshooting
If the solar stainless steel lights do not light up after several sunny days
with direct sunlight, please check the following possible causes for the
defect:
Foreign light sources such as street lamps, automobile headlights or
illuminated address lights may temporarily switch off the solar light.
The solar module is dirty.
The rechargeable battery is defective.
To replace the battery, open the lamp head by turning counter clock-
wise. Remove the lamp head. Open the battery compartment and
insert a new battery. Pay attention to the proper polarity. Operate the
solar stainless steel lights only with 1.2 V NiMH rechargeable batteries
of the size HR6 (AA) with at least 200 mAh.
