Connect the equipment only to
a socked with a residual cur-
rent-operated protective device
(RCD) with a release current of
more than 30 mA.
Avoid bodily contact with
earthed parts (e.g. metal fenc-
es, metal posts).
Use only authorised power ca-
bles of type H05RN-F, which
are no more than 75 m long and
suitable for outdoor use. The
power cable wire cross sec-
tion must be at least 2.5 mm
Always completely unroll cable
drums before use. Check the
cable for damage.
To fix on the power cable, use
the cable suspension intended
for the purpose.
Hold the extension cable away
from the auger when working
and always guide the power
lead behind the person operat-
ing the machine. The power ca-
ble could be damaged and lead
to contact with live parts.
Do not use the power cable to
pull the plug from the socket.
Protect the power cable from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
Switch off the equipment and
disconnect the plug from the
socket if the power cable is
damaged.
Do not connect a damaged
power cable to the mains. Do
not touch a damaged power ca-
ble when it is connected to the
mains. Risk of electric shock!
If the power cable is damaged,
it must be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, the customer services
of the same, or a qualified per-
son, in order to avoid hazards.

Initial Operation

Disconnect the plug before any
work on the equipment. There is a
risk of injury.
Remove the transport securing
devices before you start with the
assembly.

Mount central bar:
1. Place the central bar (7) on the
lower bar (10). If the assembly
is correct, the bore in the plastic
shroud (22) will be underneath

enclosed screws, butterfly nuts
and washers (12) right and left
on the lower bar (10). The but-
terfly nuts are pointing outwards.
Mount top grip bar:
3. Screw the top grip bar (1) with
the enclosed screws, butterfly

left on the central bar (7). The
butterfly nuts point inwards.
Clip in cable holder:
4. Clip the enclosed cable holder
(8) on the central bar (7) and use
it to secure the machine cable
