ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN Das von Ihnen erworbene Spektiv ist ein Spitzenprodukt feinmechanischer Präzision. Es ist für höchste Ansprüche an die optische Abbildungsleistung, nach neuestem Stand der Optikrechnung und Optiktechnologie gefertigt und solide in der Verarbeitung. Durch die Verwendung von ED-Optik mit Breitbandentspiegelung besitzt das Spektiv ein farbreines und kontrastrei- ches Bild, sowie eine hohe Transmission. - Page 5 INBETRIEBNAHME Entfernungseinstellung und Augenfehlerausgleich Um ein Objekt in unterschiedlichen Entfernungen gleichermaßen klar und kontrastreich beobachten zu können, ist es erforderlich, das Spektiv auf die entsprechende Entfernung einzustellen. Während der Beobachtung des Objektes wird am Fokusrad (1) so lange nach rechts oder links gedreht, bis die klarste und kontrastreichste Beobachtung erreicht ist.

WARTUNG UND PFLEGE Das Spektiv bedarf keiner besonderen Pflege, es ist nahezu wartungsfrei. Optikaußenflächen sind bei Bedarf mit einem feinen Pinsel oder einem weichen Tuch zu reinigen. Grobe Schmutzteile sollten vor dem Wischen abgespült oder abgepustet werden. Übermäßig starkes Reiben beim Putzen der optischen Teile kann den Entspieglungsbelag zerstören. -

GENERAL INFORMATION The spotting scope you have acquired is a top product with precision- mechanical parts. It is manufactured for the highest standards of optical imaging performance, according to the latest developments in the optical calculation and optical technology and is robust in processing. By using ED- optics with broadband anti-reflection, the spotting scope has a color-pure and high-contrast image, as well as a high transmission. - Page 8 COMMISSIONING Distance adjustment and eye defects compensation In order to be possible to observe an object at different distances equally clearly and with high contrast, it is necessary to set the spotting scope to the appropriate distance. While observing the object, the focus wheel (1) should be turned to the right or to the left until the clearest and most con- trasting observation is achieved.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE The spotting scope requires no special care, it is virtually maintenance free. Optic external surfaces must be cleaned with a fine brush or a soft cloth if necessary.
