The screen on the Viconics VT8600 Series may be blank due to the Screen Save setting being enabled. This setting switches the display during periods of inactivity to prevent image retention. Additionally, if the display has been exposed to prolonged static images, it may require loading an all-black or medium gray image as a screen saver for up to 5 hours to minimize any residual effects. Poor ventilation or excess heat around the display could also contribute to display issues.

Questions and answers
Our screen went blank and I cannot see anything
The screen on the Viconics VT8600 Series may be blank due to the Screen Save setting being enabled. This setting switches the display during periods of inactivity to prevent image retention. Additionally, if the display has been exposed to prolonged static images, it may require loading an all-black or medium gray image as a screen saver for up to 5 hours to minimize any residual effects. Poor ventilation or excess heat around the display could also contribute to display issues.
