SAFEty InStrUCtIonS

Please note the following aspects prior to any commissioning:
A. The heating blanket may only be used with the controller supplied.
B. Power requirements for the device: 220 - 240 V~.
C. If there are any problems with the device, please send it to the manufacturer.
D. Only for indoor use.
E. When using an electrical device near children, conscientious
supervision is required.

Never bring the device into direct contact with water or other liquids.
Never use the device in the bathtub, shower, pools, saunas or outdoors.
Do not touch the device with wet hands.
Only operate the device with the supply voltage specified.
The device must not be used outdoors.
This device uses supply voltage; therefore, the same safety regulations as for any other electrical device
apply.

Prior to any commissioning of the device, check that all components of the device are in perfect condition.
In the event of a defect or a malfunction, immediately switch off the device and disconnect the power plug
from power supply system.
Any repair work may only be carried out by the manufacturer. Never open the device. The individual

components of this device must not be disassembled, repaired or modified.
Only use the device in dry rooms and if your body is dry.
Never operate the device next to other sources of heat.

Never carry or pull the device by holding it on the power cable. Disconnect the cable from the power socket
using the plug and never using the cable.
Do not pull the power cable over sharp edges or pinch it, do not let it hang down and do not place or
suspended it over hot objects (e.g. hobs) or open flames and protect it against heat or oil.

Only use an extension cable if you previously made sure that it is in a perfect condition.
If the power cable of the device is damaged, have it immediately replaced by an expert.
Never use the device after the power cable has been damaged, the device has been dropped or come into
contact with water.

Remove the power plug from the power socket if the device is not in use.
The device must not be used by infants and small children (0-3 years).

This device can be used by children from the age of eight and people with limited physical, sensory
or intellectual capabilities or with lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have received extensive instructions in how to use the device by this person in
such a manner that they understand the associated risks.

Children must not play with the device.
Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without supervision.
An electrical device is not a toy. Children do not realise the risks which may result from using

Disconnect the device from the power supply system before cleaning it. During cleaning, make sure that no
liquids come into contact with the switch and that the device is only used in an absolutely dry condition.
Do not insert any needles or pointed objects into the device.

The appliance should not be used on a adjustable bed. If the appliance is used on an adjestable bed,
check that the blanket and the cord do not become trapped or rucked, for example in hingles.
