2. 4G Module Installation 1. Open the cover of the mobile DVR by unscrewing below screws. 1 big screw on the Rear Panel 2 small screws 2 small screws on the Left Side on the Right Side 2 small screws on the Top Cover Small screw... - Page 4 2. Overview: To install a 4G Module, you need to install the packaged items and the SIM Card to the Daughter Board on the Mobile DVR. Mobile DVR: Daughter Board Daughter Board: SIM Card Connector 4G Module Socket Screw the 4G Module Here...
- Page 5 3. Insert the 4G Module into the 4G Module Socket on the Daughter Board. 4G Module Socket 4G Module 4. Screw the 4G Module to the Daughter Board using the supplied screws.
- Page 6 5. Insert the SIM Card into the SIM Card Connector on the Daughter Board. (Push the metal plate (Push the metal plate Insert the forward to fix the backward then lift it) SIM Card here SIM Card) Note: If you have installed the Wi-Fi Module, you need to unscrew and lift it so that you can insert the SIM Card into the SIM Card Connector.
- Page 7 6. Plug the RF Cable Assemblies to the small circles on the 4G Module. RF Cable Assemblies 7. Remove the Ant. 1 & Ant. 2 plugs in order to insert the RF Cable Assemblies for connecting the 4G antennas.
- Page 8 8. Insert the RF Cable Assemblies through the 4G antenna holes (Ant. 1 & Ant. 2). Please remember to use the Outer Rings and the Hexagon Nuts to tighten the connectors as the figure below. Hexagon Nut Outer Ring RF Cable Assembly 9.
