Installation

1.
Operate the disconnector to the closed position.
Notice the limit mechanism on the disconnector
shaft.
2.
Determine on which side the motor operation
device is to be instal led.
3.
Cut the disconnector shaft to length B.
B = 20 mm for OJON 12_
B = 50 mm for OJON 24_
See fi g.E.
4.
Drill two 9 mm holes in the disconnector frame
for the fi xing bracket.
5.
Fit one of the fi xing brackets to the disconnector
frame, and the other on the motor operating
device.
6.
Fit the adjuster coupling to the disconnector
shaft. Rotate the coup ling to 45° and tigh ten the
locking screw F-1. (The locking nut is not needed)
Loosen the adjuster screws F-2 and F-3 until full
play is achieved. See fi g.F.
7.
Open the cover for the motor operating device.
8.
Install the motor operating device, with both the
disconnector shaft and the adjuster coupling
rotate to the closed position. In the closed posi tion,
the lifting arm G-1 points downwards.
9.
Check that the shaft of the motor operation de-
vice rotates easily. If necessary loosen the screws
for the fi xing brackets and centralise the motor
operation device. Tighten the screws.
Important!
The adjuster coupling has to rotate on the inner
side of the discon nector shaft so that the voltage
withstand level is not reduced. See fi g. F.
10. Open the locking screw F-1 and rotate the motor
operating device to the closed position and the
adjuster coupling in the opposite directi on as much
as the play allows, and tighten the locking screw
in this position.
11. Drill one 8 mm hole through the adjuster coupling
and shaft for 12 kV discon nectors and two holes
for 24 kV disconnectors, and fi t the cot ter pins.
