Operation
Other systems are monitored non-continuously; they are only monitored
under specific operating conditions. Their status may not always be listed
as ready:
EGR—EGR System Monitoring
O2S—O2 Sensors Monitoring
CAT—Catalyst Monitoring
EVAP—Evaporative System Monitoring
HO2S—O2 Sensor Heater Monitoring
2AIR—Secondary Air Monitoring
HCM—Heated Catalyst Monitoring
A/C—A/C System Monitor
These systems will only display a ready status after a sufficient drive cycle
has been performed since the trouble codes were erased for the last time.
Once a monitor has switched to "ready" it will remain so until the codes
are erased. If a monitor displays "not ready" after the vehicle has been
driven under operating conditions for an extended amount of time consult
your vehicle's operating or shop manual.
In the diagnostic menu the data gathered by the I/M sensors can be
reviewed. You can choose between reviewing the data gathered since the
DTCs were erased for the last time or the data gathered in the current
drive cycle. Choose between the displayed options with the UP and
DOWN buttons and confirm your selection with ENTER. The selected data
is now displayed. The data may be spread over several display pages,
use LEFT and RIGHT to switch pages.
The possible statuses are N/A, which indicated the function is not
supported by the vehicle, INC for incomplete data or not ready status and
finally OK for a successfully completed test with positive results.

Data Stream Function

The unit can display and record various parameters with the engine
running. From these parameters some evidence regarding the condition of
the vehicle can be gathered and it is possible to monitor parameters which
are not displayed by the vehicle during normal operation.
