Warranty conditions

Digital Game Technology BV (DGT) guarantees that DGT Pi complies with our highest quality
standards. If despite our care in choosing components, materials, production and transport, your
DGT Pi nevertheless shows a hardware defect during the first two years after purchase, please
contact DGT support for assistance through the
Please give a detailed description of the fault and the serial number of your DGT Pi. If DGT support
is unable to solve the issue, please return the product to the retailer where you obtained the
product. The device will then be exchanged or returned for repair to a DGT service centre. Original
proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.
The warranty is only valid if DGT Pi has been used in a reasonable and prudent manner as intended
to be used. The warranty does not apply if the DGT Pi has been misused or if any unauthorized
repair attempts or software modifications have been undertaken without express written consent
from DGT support or one of the DGT approved service centres.
If the software of the DGT Pi is damaged, it can be recovered as described in this manual. The DGT
Pi is only covered under warranty if there is hardware defect on the SD card, the power adapter or
the DGT Pi unit assembly.
Important: The included manual of the DGT3000 states a warranty period of five years for the
DGT3000. This period only applies for a regular stand-alone DGT3000 clock and is not applicable to
the DGT Pi. The DGT Pi is covered with a warranty period of two years and according the warranty
statements stated above.
