Step 3 In Host Name (or IP address), enter the IP address of the GE0 port on the main control
board, for example, 192.168.2.1.
The default IP address of the MCU's GE0 port on the main control board is 192.168.2.1.
Step 4 Select SSH for Protocol. Use the default value for Port.
Step 5 Click Open.
The login window is displayed.
Step 6 Enter the user name and password and press Enter.
The default user name is admin. The default password differs due to different software version.
The default password for original version is retained after upgrading ViewPoint 8660
V100R008C01B017SP03 or an earlier version to ViewPoint 8660 V100R008C01B017SP04
or a later version. The account is locked out for five minutes by default if you enter incorrect
passwords three consecutive times when attempting to log in to the MCU.
