1.3.3 Serial Port Cable
You can configure the MCU at a terminal by connecting the terminal to the RS-232 serial port
on the board with the serial port cable.

1.3.4 Optical Fiber
Optical fibers are used to connect the boards of the MCU to optical interface boards in other
cabinets or to other signal source devices (for example, SDH). All optical fibers can be
transferred through the optical distribution frame (ODF).
