  • Page 9 The MCU is an MCU that supports hybrid access through H.323 and the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The MCU is managed by the HUAWEI SMC2.0 or ViewPoint ResourceManager (hereinafter referred to as the RM), MediaManager and the ViewPoint vSwitch System (hereinafter referred to as the SwitchCentre).

This function is convenient for locating and analyzing random problems and helps to solve the system malfunctions. This section describes how to register an endpoint with a GK, using the HUAWEI ViewPoint 9000 HD videoconferencing endpoint and 8650C embedded GK as an example. The HUAWEI ViewPoint 9000 videoconferencing endpoint provides a web interface where you can set GK registration parameters.
