The MCU is an MCU that supports hybrid access through H.323 and the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). The MCU is managed by the HUAWEI SMC2.0 or ViewPoint ResourceManager (hereinafter referred to as the RM), MediaManager and the ViewPoint vSwitch System (hereinafter referred to as the SwitchCentre).

This section describes how to register an endpoint with a GK, using the HUAWEI ViewPoint 9000 HD videoconferencing endpoint and 8650C embedded GK as an example. 8.10 Configuring the IMS interconnection settings Context When deploying an MCU on the Huawei IMS core network, you need to configure the settings in the MRFC, such as the addresses of the two main control boards of the MCU, TCP connection port, authentication password, and MCU alias.
