    3-point linkage. 3.2. General design Well-proven design and quality materials ensure high reliability and durability of SaMASZ machines. Rotary snow blower Tornado generally consists of linkage, working assembly and hydraulically adjustable blowing tube. Tornado blowers can have optionally mounted tube extension to extend its height, owing to which loading collected material onto a trailer is possible.

    Rotary Snow Blower User's manual Tornado 3.3. Drive transmission assembly As provided on Fig. 6, drive is transmitted from tractor's PTO shaft by telescopic articulated shaft (1) onto gear (2). At the same time the gear powers blower's rotor (3) and milling screw (6) through intermediate telescopic articulated shaft (4) and chain gear (5) consisting of cogs, chain and tensioner.

    Spare parts should be ordered according to spare part catalogue by giving full name of the part as well as its catalogue no. NOTE: Use only genuine SaMASZ fittings and spare parts. Spare parts of unknown origin or new made feature lower strength and have unfavorable influence on machine’s performance and overall safety.

Mounting blower Tornado on 3-point linkage As shown on Fig. 7, in order to mount the machine on drive its catch with a tractor so, that lower links of tractor's 3-point linkage (1) are in into eyes found on blower's linkage (2), immobilize the tractor and protect it from rolling, and then lock with pins and protect with cotters.

Connect the shaft's end equipped with overrunning clutch to the machine.

Preparing rotary snow blower for operation Once blower is properly mounted on tractor, inspect and examine whether blower's clearing bars are in good condition, whether rotor and drive transmission assembly is acceptable condition and has no loosen bolt connections.

    Rotary Snow Blower User's manual Tornado 5.6. Operation NOTE! Snow clearing rate should always be adjusted depending on current road conditions. When clearing snow, do not drive faster than 5 km/h. Prior to lowering and starting the machine, which is mounted on the tractor, make sure whether there are no unauthorized personnel (children in particular) or animals within the operating reach.

OPERATING SERVICE Prior to each operation commencement: make sure that blower is properly mounted on tractor, examine condition of hoses and hydraulic connections, examine operation of hydraulics, examine technical condition of guards, examine technical condition of rotor and drive transmission assembly, examine condition of clearing bars and sliding skids, and if need be, replace with new ones, examine torque of all bolts and nuts according to Tab.

When mounting and dismounting, please remember about personal protection as well as environmental protection means. NOTE! When unhitching the machine pay particular attention to additional threat such as crush or cut. Special protective equipment must be used: gloves, protective clothing, glasses etc.

    3. Faults or damages should be submitted personally, on letter or by telephone. Repairs shall be carried out within 14 days. Any repair which is subject to warranty should be carried out by an authorized SaMASZ dealer. 4. Warranty claims regarding replacing of the product or repayment are considered within 14 days by the Manufacturer.
