Children should not play with the vacuum cleaner. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without supervision. Only Hoover recommended tools and accessories should be used with this vacuum cleaner. The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped. -

OPERATION PLEASE READ ‘GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION’ AT THE BEGINNING BEFORE USE CAUTION: Always switch off the vacuum cleaner before connecting or disconnecting the handheld/attachments or removing and emptying the dirt container. IMPORTANT: The vacuum cleaner is equipped with overheat protection. - Page 7 OPERATION Charging the battery When the charger is connected, both the battery charging light on the back of the handheld and battery indicator light on the handle will illuminate: Red light - the vacuum is charging White light - the vacuum is charged The battery level gauge lights will illuminate in turn as the battery charges, until all four lights are illuminated.
- Page 8 OPERATION NOTE: The vacuum has a constantly rotating brushbar when activated. Never leave the vacuum in one spot for an extended period of time as this may damage the floor surface. Always turn the brushbar off when cleaning hard floors. The brushbar should be ON for carpets and OFF for hard floors.

MAINTENANCE Emptying and cleaning the dirt container CAUTION: Always switch off the vacuum and unplug from the charger and mains before carrying out any maintenance or troubleshooting. WARNING: Don’t over fill the dirt container to avoid blocking the air flow through the vacuum.
