4. PREPARATION
4.1.
BATTERIES (fig.3)
4.1.1.
To fit 4 AA batteries (not supplied), depress end cap and slide off the end cap covering the battery compartment. Make sure battery
terminals are aligned correctly to power up unit.
4.2.
PROBE CABLE (fig.2)
4.2.1.
The cable assembly can only be arranged in one position due to the use of an alignment keyway. Once the connector is inserted use
the knurled collar to screw both parts together.
5. OPERATION
5.1.
Assemble the unit as described in section 4.1 and 4.2 as shown in fig.2 and fig.3.
5.1.1.
Insert SD card into SD slot (fig.2).
5.2.
UNIT CONTROLS
5.2.1.
To turn unit on press the
key.
5.2.2.
To begin recording or photographing use the
photographing modes.
5.2.3.
To rotate the screen view use the
5.2.4.
To turn camera LED on or off use the
videos.
5.2.5.
To browse through pictures and videos use the
5.2.6.
To set date and time on the unit use the
button 5.2.5 to confirm.
5.2.7.
If the unit stops working, press the reset button on rear face via the reset aperture (fig.3) using a blunt wire. This will reset the unit and
it will go into standby mode.
5.3.
RECORDING
5.3.1.
Use the control panel as required and described in section 5.2.
5.3.2.
To control the movement of the articulated probe use the thumb wheel (fig.4). NOTE: When the arrow on the thumb wheel lines up
with the marking on the body, the camera lense is centrally positioned.
5.3.3.
To swap between photography and recording see 5.2.2.
5.3.4.
To illuminate camera LED see 5.2.4.
5.4.
VIEWING
5.4.1.
Connect USB cable from borescope body (see fig.2) to the computer being used to view contents.
5.4.2.
Follow computer instructions to either view and/or download the contents of the SD card.
