    MAINTENANCE 3-4 mm ADJUSTING THE CHAIN TENSION 1. Make sure to turn off the product before adjusting the chain tension. Using the combination wrench, loosen the bar nut of the drive case slightly, and then turn the adjusting screw 1/4 turn counterclockwise. 2.
  • Page 19 MAINTENANCE REPLACING THE CHAIN BAR 1. Turn off the product. Using the combination wrench, remove the bar nut from the drive case cover. 2. Remove the bar nut, drive case cover, and chain bar. 3. Prepare the chain bar. Make sure that the chain follows the correct direction as shown.
  • Page 20 MAINTENANCE 5. Place the drive case cover, and install the bar nut. 6. Using the combination wrench, tighten the bar nut to finger-tight fitting. The bar must be free to move for tension adjustment. 7. Remove all slack from the chain by turning the chain tensioning screw clockwise, assuring that the chain seats into the bar groove during tensioning.
