Beispiel 1
• Hausantenne
Im ersten Beispiel wird der Modulator verwendet, um
das Signal einer Spielkonsole auf einem Fernsehgerät
anzuzeigen. An Stelle der Konsole kann selbstverständ-
lich auch eine Kamera, ein DVD-Player oder eine be-
liebige andere Video-Audioquele mit FBAS-Normsignal
verwendet werden.
Die Antennenanlage in diesem Beispiel besteht im
wesentlichen aus folgenden Komponenten:
 Hausantenne (wenn vorhanden)
 VAM- Modulator
3 Spielkonsole
4 Fernsehgerät
Der Modulator wird zwischen Hausantenne und Fern-
sehgerät angeschlossen. Dazu wird das Antennensignal
in die „HF IN"-Buchse eingespeist. Das Signal der
Spielkonsole wird über die 3 Cinchbuchsen (Video IN, x
Audio IN) dem VAM- Modulator zugeführt und auf das
Antennensignal aufmoduliert. Dieses wird dann über die
„HF OUT"-Buchse an den Fernseher (4) ausgegeben.
Beispiel 2
• SAT-Anlage ohne Multischalter
In diesem Beispiel soll das Signal einer Überwa-
chungskamera in eine SAT-Anlage ohne Multischalter
eingespeist werden. Die Antenne (Parabolspiegel) ist in
diesem Fall direkt mit dem Receiver verbunden.
Nachfolgend eine Übersicht der elementaren Kompo-
nenten:
 Antenne (Parabolspiegel)
 Receiver
3 VAM- Modulator
4 Überwachungskamera
5 Fernsehgerät
Der Modulator wird zwischen Receiver und Fernsehgerät
eingebaut, nicht zwischen Parabolantenne und Receiver.
Dazu wird der Receiverausgang (falls vorhanden) mit
der „HF IN"-Buchse und das Fernsehgerät mit der „HF
OUT"-Buchse des VAM- Modulators verbunden. Ist Ihr
TV-Gerät mittels Scartkabel mit dem Receiver verbun-
den, dann entfällt das HF-Verbindungskabel zwischen
Receiver und Modulator. Die Überwachungskamera wird
analog der Spielkonsole im ersten Beispiel an den 3
Cinchbuchsen angeschlossen.
Example 1
• House antenna
In our first example the modulator is used to display the
signal of a games console on the TV-device. Of course
the games console can be easily substituted by a
camera, DVD-player or any other video-audio source
with a FBAS standard signal.
Basically the antenna installation in this example exists
of the following components:
 House antenna (if existing)
 VAM- modulator
3 Games console
4 TV-device
The modulator is connected between the house antenna
and the TV-device. The antenna signal is supplied to the
„HF IN"-socket and the signal of the games console is
supplied to the 3 Cinch sockets (Video IN,  x Audio IN)
of the VAM- modulator. Now the signal of the games
console will be modulated on the antenna signal and
output to the TV-device by the „HF OUT"-socket of the
modulator.
Example 2
• Satellite installation w/o DISEqC-switch
In this example the signal of a monitoring camera shall
be supplied to a satellite home installation without
DISEqC-switch. The antenna (parabolic reflector) is
connected directly to receiver.
Please see the following elementary components:
 Antenna (parabolic reflector)
 Receiver
3 VAM- modulator
4 Monitoring camera
5 TV device
The modulator is connected between the receiver and
the TV device and not between the parabolic reflector
and the receiver. Therefore the receiver output (if
existing) is connected to the „HF IN"-socket and the
TV-device to the „HF OUT"-socket of the VAM- modu-
lator. If your TV-device is connected to the receiver by a
Scart-cable then the HF-connection cable between the
receiver and modulator is not necessary. The monitoring
camera will be connected to the 3 Cinch sockets of the
modulator, as described in example .
