Security Cable. The MacBook has its own security slot on the left side towards the front of the computer, and the BookEndz Dock has a security slot on its left side near the back of the dock. You may wish to secure one or both items while you are away. -

With your MacBook shutdown (not asleep), position the dock on the fl at surface you intend to use it on. Align the connectors on the BookEndz Dock, with the ports on the MacBook, and gently push the BookEndz Dock until docking is complete. -
