4. After each blade is sharpened, a light machine oil or
lithium based spray-on grease (not included) must be
applied to the blades.

PROBLEM
Motor fails to start
when trigger switch is
depressed.
Motor runs, but cutting
blades do not move.
Hedge trimmer smokes
during operation.
Motor hums, blades do
not move.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Cord not plugged in.
Cord or switch is damaged.
Hedge trimmer damaged.
Hedge trimmer damaged.
Debris or other may be jamming
the blades.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Plug in cord.
Have cord or switch replaced.
Do not use the hedge trimmer. Call
