5.2.1 Symbols
Battery level of the "OV-
DMC 3" measuring gauge.
The black bar in the horizontal
battery symbol shows the
battery level. If the black bar is
not displayed with an existing
connection, the "OV-DMC 3"
has to be charged.

Call up table with measuring
results
Save measuring results.
Here, the measuring results of
different valves in one project
can be arranged in projects.

6. Commissioning

6.1 WLAN connection

1. Open "Settings" on your mobile device.
2. Select the menu option "WLAN".
3. Connect your mobile device to the
measuring gauge "OV-DMC 3".
4. Close "Settings".
6.2 Valve regulation
1. Start the Oventrop app.
2. Select the button "OV-DMC 3" (see Illustr. 1
on page 11).
Z The menu "OV-DMC 3" opens. (see Illustr.
2 on page 11)
3. Select "Measurement with "OV-DMC 3"".
Z A window with different selection options
opens:
Measurement with "OV-DMC 3"
Select valve In this menu you can select
the valve to be regulated
from a list.
Load valve Here you can load the valve
from the
settings from a project
project stored before for further
measurements.
kv value By entering the kv value of
method the valve to be regulated,
the flow rate is determined
on the basis of differential
pressure measured in the
current valve position.
Products which are not
included in the list (products
of other manufactures) can
also be measured with the
help of the kv value method.
