2 USAGE AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
2.1 Description of normal conditions of use and precautions for use
This Sport GPS can guide its user to one of up to ve positions which can be stored in its memory. Even though it is not
waterproof, it is designed to function in outdoor conditions. It functions using the GPS satellite system, so it can only be used
when the device detects a suitably strong signal. It is therefore not possible to mark a point or be guided when the GPS signal is
not detected. This will usually be the case indoors. Similarly, the GPS signal can be a ected by the weather (cloud cover or snow),
thick vegetation (undergrowth) and an urban environment (narrow streets and high buildings). If the GPS signal is very seriously
a ected, we advise you to choose a di erent route.

2.2 Precautions for use:

Handle the device with care - do not drop it or subject it to strong impacts. Do not take the product apart. This would render
the guarantee null and void and may cause irreparable damage. Do not subject the product to extreme temperatures. If it is
exposed to sunlight for too long, the display may darken temporarily, but will go back to normal once it has cooled down again.
Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean. Do not use detergents, as they could damage the equipment.
