5. Shut off the water supply and, by hand or with the use of a coupling
spanner, detach the coupling of the water hose (Fig. 2/1) from the
fixed coupling on the foam nozzle (Fig. 2/2).

Visual inspection after each use

 The foam nozzle is separated from the water supply.

The foam nozzle must not be contaminated with foam agent. If
necessary, rinse the foam nozzle again as described in the previ-
ous section.
Important
1. Inspect the foam nozzle for visible damage.
2. Check that the hand lever and the selection lever can be operated
(unpressurised).

Water may emerge when the couplings are released.
Do not continue to use damaged components!
If you discover any damage, this must be reported
to the person or department responsible.
