BASIC 5.2S – Start-up Guide
The com.tom BASIC device communicate
with the web portal via Ethernet and the
existing network infrastructure. The com-
munication mechanism has a low data
volume and can be integrated easily in the
existing network infrastructure.

The power supply must be a grounded circuit (PELV).
The power supply must be a limited power source according to
EN60950-1 cap. 2.5 or the device must be provided with an anti-
surge fuse of 2 A. The digital I/Os are provided with a detached
anti-surge fuse of 4 A.

Wire the com.tom device according to the technical data. Get
the Getting Started documentation com.tom-CODESYS at
www.beck-ipc.com/gettingstarted and follow the steps de-
scribed there to put your com.tom device into operation.
