However, the installation site must be chosen under consideration of the radio range. Sufficient
distance should be kept to larger metal objects (e.g. heater), as well as to interfering electronic
devices (e.g. computers).

c) "FHT80TF-2" installation

Once the installation site is chosen, the "FHT80TF-2" casing may be attached. The casing may
be attached with screws of by the adhesive strips included in the scope of supply.
• The casing is opened by pulling down the cover. If an external magnet sensor
is to be connected, it must first be attached (see chapter 6. f).
• Now mount the casing at the desired location. When using the double-faced
adhesive tape included in the scope of delivery, ensure that the surfaces are
clean and dry.
The adhesive strips must be used when the casing is directly attached to the
frame.
• When the casing is to be screwed to a wall, use the included drill template to
mark the positions for both screws.
If the casing is screwed to the frame, the door or window will be damaged. This
may lead to damages claims if done in a rented apartment, or your rent deposit may
not be returned.
