2. Intended Use

Together with the two-way "FHT80B" room control, the "FHT80TF-2" enables heating rooms as
required and while saving energy.
If a door or window monitored by the "FHT80TF-2" is opened, e.g. for airing the room, the room
control is informed of this. It will then lower the target temperature to a predefined value, to avoid
wasting heat.
When the window or door is closed again, the room control automatically returns to the original
target value. The cumbersome and often forgotten manual opening and closing of heating valves
is no longer required.
Any use other than that described above damages the product and involves dangers such as short-
circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
