1. PURPOSE The purpose of this guide is to familiarize the Synod users with the functioning of the Jabra headsets. These headsets are compatible with the Zoom softphone app where most of the call controls will be handled. 2. KEY COMPONENTS AND CONNECTIVITY The Jabra headsets come with a charging base, Bluetooth adaptor, charging cable and a storage pouch. -

Plug the supplied Jabra Link 370 adaptor into a USB port on your PC. The Jabra Evolve 75 and the Jabra Link 370 are pre-paired and ready for use out of the box. The Bluetooth range is up to 30 meters or 100 feet. -

The voice guidance can be switched on/off by holding the Mute button for 5 seconds, or by using Jabra Direct software on your PC. 4.4 Busylights The Busylights on the headset automatically light up red when you are on a call to indicate to colleagues that you are busy. -

To perform a factory reset, hold the Answer/ End call button and the Volume up button at the same time for 5 seconds. After the headset has been reset, you will need to re-pair it to the Jabra Link 370, or to your smartphone. -

JABRA DIRECT SOFTWARE Jabra direct is a software that will be installed on all Synod PC’s and enables you to easily get readiness status of your Jabra device and the Zoom softphone App. The built-in dashboard gives you a device and softphone connectivity status and the ready status for every call. -

The dashboard shows the status of your headset, if any updates are available, and if your softphone(s) are ready for use. By clicking your Jabra device in the dashboard, you will be linked into the Jabra Direct main application for managing setting preferences. -

7.2 How many Bluetooth devices can I pair with my Jabra device? Your Jabra device can be paired with up to 8 different Bluetooth devices. If you attempt to pair a 9th device, it will replace the least used device from the existing pairings.
