Setting Up Wi-Fi IrisVision can be configured to connect to your Wi-Fi. A Wi- Fi connection allows our Customer Support team to assist you more efficiently, as well as allowing you to utilize our video player mode. NOTE: IrisVision does not require Wi-Fi to function.

Step 2: Power on Display Unit If the display unit is not already powered on, you will need to power it on by pressing the power button on the right side when you are looking at the screen as shown.

Step 4: Connecting Display Unit with Headset 1. The headset has a connector and a clip with two positions: A & B. For the current model of IrisVision, it should remain in the A position. 2. Insert the headset’s connector into the display unit’s connector.

Wireless Charging Instructions Your IrisVision will take approximately 5 hours to fully charge and will automatically return to focus mode only when powered 1. Powering the IrisVision using the Magnetic Braided Power Cable on Headset This power port can be used for extensive and continuous use beyond what the built-in battery can provide. Using IrisVision: Step 3 - Set Up Focus Slowly spin the focus wheel on the top center of your headset to adjust the focus, similar to adjusting binoculars. After powering on your headset, it should automatically show Focus mode. It contains an image with beach chairs.

Using IrisVision: Step 4 - IrisVision Modes Your IrisVision headset is shipped with five modes activated: Focus, Scene, Reading, Reading Inverted and Television. After adjusting the focus wheel, press the mode button to enter the first mode called the Scene. Press once more to enter Television.

Using IrisVision: Step 5 - Zoom In / Out IrisVision allows you to magnify your live view. 1. Locate the touchpad. The touchpad is located on the right side of the headset under the mode and snapshot buttons. 2. Place your right index finger on the touchpad. We recommend putting your hand in a fist with your index finger pointed out to steady your hand on the touchpad.

Scene Mode Scene Mode is your default live view mode. This mode replicates the vivid colors and contrast of the scenery in front of you. Experience a brighter image with auto focus and zoom in up to 14 times magnification.

Reading: This mode presents reading material with black letters on a white background. It is best for reading text material like books or papers without color. Reading Inverted: This mode is a variation of Reading mode which provides white letters on a black background. This enhances the contrast and provides reduced glare on the screen, which can be helpful for those overwhelmed by bright scenes. Reading Line: The Reading Line mode presents text in black letters on a white background. It also provides a magnification bar in the center of the screen to magnify one or more lines of text while allowing a normal view above and below the bar. Increase the size of the reading line by slowly swiping up on the touchpad.

It increases screen contrast without the brightness of a white background and is helpful when reading for extended periods of time. IrisReader: IrisReader uses optical character recognition (OCR) to display captured text to the reader and will read it one word at a time. When the word is being spoken it will be highlighted on the display. 1. Cycle to IrisReader mode and center the text you would like to have read on the screen.

Photo Gallery mode allows you to view snapshots you have saved. The images are stored on the headset and can be exported to your computer. Recommendations for Use - Continued 3. Auto-Focus: The IrisVision has a camera with automatic focus. The camera may take a second or two to adjust its focus on an object. lf the camera fails to focus on an object, look away and then back at the object.
Cleaning Tips for Your IrisVision Headset • Make sure you wipe the outer parts of the headset with a dry soft cloth or wipe. The touch pad can collect the oil from your fingers as you operate the headset, so wiping down every now and then is recommended.

Once this happens your IrisVision will be off and can be put away. 3. To turn your IrisVision back on, you will need to hold the power button down for 5 seconds until you feel the button vibrate. It will take about 45 seconds to reboot fully, then focus mode will appear to let you know it is ready for use.
