Care and cleaning of the range.
Be sure electrical power is off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the range.
WARNING:
I f your range
is
removed for cleaning, servicing or any
reason, be sure the anti-tip device is
re-engaged properly when the range is
replaced. Failure to take this precaution
could result in tipping of the range and
cause injury.

I,et the range cool before cleaning. We
recommend
that you wear rubber gloves
when cleaning the range.
Soap and water Mll normally do fllejob.
HoaxT spattering or spillovet_ may require
cleaning with a mild abtv_sivecleaner.
Soap-filled scouring pads may also be used.
Donotallowfoodspillswith a high
sugaror acidcontent(such asmilk,
tomatoes, sauerkraut, fruitjuicesor
pie filling)to remabon thesurface. T hey may
causea duffspotevenaftercleanbg.
Household ammonia may make the
cleaning job easier. Place 1/2 cup in a
shallow ,glassor pottery container in a cold
oven overnight. The ammonia flmles will
help loosen the burned<m grease and food.

Follow the package
directions.

ovencleanbg,beingcarefulnotto movethesensor
asa change b its positioncouldaffect howthe
ovenbakes.
Donotsprayanyovencleaner o n theovendoor,
handles or anyexteriorsurface of theoven,cabinets
orpaintedsurfaces. T hecleaner c andamage these
surfaces.
Lift the door straight up and off the
hinges,
Thegasket is designed with a gap
at the bottom to allow for proper
air circulation.
Because the area inside the gasket is
cleaned during the self-clean cycle,
you do not need to clean this by hand
on self-clean models.
The area outside the gasket and
the front frame can be cleaned with
a soap-filled steel-wool pad, hot
water and detergent. Rinse weft
with a vinegar and water solution.
Do not rub or clean the door gasket-it
has an extremelylow resistance to
abrasion.
If you notice the gasket becoming
worn, frayed or damaged in any way,
or flit has become displaced on the
door, you should have it replaced.

Lift-Off Oven Door
The oven door is removable for cleaning.
Donotlift thedoorby thehandle.Makesurethe
ovenis completely c ool
Toremovethedoor,open it to fl_e special
stop position. Grasp dimly on each side and
lift the door straight tap and off file hinges.
Onnotplacehands betweenthehingeandtheoven
doorframe.
To replace the door, make sure file hinges
are in the speciM stop position.
Position
the slots in the bottom
of the door squarely
over the hinges
and slowly lower it over
both hinges.
Tocleantheinside ofthedoor:
} Do not allow excess water to run into any
holes or slots in the dent.

Toclean the outside of thedoor:
Use soap and wamr to flloroughly clean
the rap, sides and flont of the oven dent.
Rinse well. You may also use a glass
cleaner to clean the glass on the outside
of the dent. Do not let wamr drip into
the vent openings.
Spillage of marinades, fluitjuices,
mmam
sauces and basting materials containing
acids may cause discoloration
and should
be wiped up immediamly. When surface
is cool, clean and rinse.
Do not use oven cleaners, cleaning
powders or hapsh abt_si'ves on the
outside of the dent.
