Preheating and Pan Placement
Preheat file oven if file recipe calls for it.
To preheat, set file oven at file correct
mmperaune.
Preheating
is necessa_ T for
good results when baking cakes, cookies,
pasu T and breads.
Forovenswithouta preheatbdicatorlightor tone,
preheat10minutes.
Onsomemodels, t hedisplaywill show "PilE"
whilepreheating. W hentheovenreaches the
selectedtemperature, theovencontrolwifl beep
and thedisplay will showtheoventemperature.
Baking results will be bettor if baking pans
are centered in the oven as much as
possible. Pans should not much each other
or the walls of the oven. If you need m use
two racks, stagger the pans so one is not
directly above the otbe_, and leave
approximately
1½" flom the flont
of the pan to the flont of the rock.
Aluminum Foil
Donotusealuminum foil on thebottomof theoven.
Never
entiiely
cover
a rack
with
ahlnlinum
foil. This will disturb the heat circulation
and result in poor baking.
A smaller sheet of foil may be used to catch
a spillover by placing it on a lower rock
several inches below the food.

Leave the door open to the broil stop
position. The door staysopen by itself,
yet the proper temperature is
maintained in the oven.

Touch the BROIL HI/I.Opad once
for HI Broil.

Touch the START/ON pad.

When broiling is finished, touch
the CLEAR/OFF p ad.
To change to I,O Broil, touch
the BROIL HI/LOpad again.
