Power Windows

Switch group for power windows:
1 left, front
2 left, rear
3 right, front
4 right, rear
5 Safety switch
The power windows can only be oper­
ated with the key in steering lock posi­
tion 1 or 2.
All four windows can then be operated
using the switches in the center con­
sole. The rear door windows can also
be operated using the switches (6) in
each rear door panel as long as the
safety switch (5) in the center console
is depressed. If the safety switch is not
depressed, inadvertent operation of
the rear door windows (for instance,
by children) is prevented.
Warning!
When leaving the vehicle always
remove the key from the steering
lock. Do not leave children unat­
tended in the vehicle. Unsuper­
vised use of power windows can
cause serious personal injury.

Shelf below Rear Window

Warning!
The shelf below the rear window
should not be used to carry
objects. This will prevent such
objects from being thrown about
and injuring vehicle occupants
during an accident or sudden
maneuver.
