Please mind the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damages or physical injuries:
.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Never leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of
children or persons in need of supervision.
Only use this unit according to this instruction manual and for the intended
use.
For your own safety it is not recommended to use a permanent connection
between the air hammer and the air hose, but use the supplied quick
coupling adaptor (7) instead.
Always control the working air pressure with a pressure regulator.
The air hammer causes a high sound pressure level. Wear
appropriate hearing protection.
Wear personal protective clothing such as goggles, protective gloves and
protective mask if necessary.
Do not use oxygen or flammable gases as power source. Only use clean,
dry air at 6.2 bar with the air hammer. Exceeding the pressure level will
significantly reduce the lifetime of the tool.
Disconnect the air hammer from the air supply before applying mainte-
nance work or inserting or exchanging impact sockets or impact bits.
Check all connections and hoses for firm seat and proper functionality.
Loose hoses can create a serious risk of injury. Only use safety couplings.
Check the unit for any damages and do not use the air hammer if it has
been damaged.
Avoid abnormal posture. Make sure you have a firm foothold and you
always hold the balance.
Be attentive! Pay attention to what you are doing. Approach your work with
circumspection.
Do not use the unit when your reactivity is affected by alcohol consump-
tion, medication, drugs, illness or tiredness. One moment of abstraction
operating the unit can cause grave injuries.
Please wear convenient work clothes. Wear tight clothes, non-slip
footwear and a hair net if you wear long hair or tie it up. Jewellery and
loose clothing may be caught by the moving parts of the tool.
