4.2 Connection and operation
Before establishing or changing any connection, always switch off the speaker system
and the units to be connected!

4.3 MP3 player
To replay MP3 files, insert a USB flash drive into the USB port (3) and/or insert a mem-
ory card into the slot SD (1), notched corner of the card upwards and facing the unit.
Note: Due to the large number of storage device manufacturers and device drivers, it cannot be
guaranteed that all storage media are compatible with the MP3 player.

4.4 Remote control
The MP3 player is supplied with power by means
of a 3 V button cell. If the remote control is de-
livered with the battery inserted, remove the
protective film (used to prevent the battery from
discharging) from the battery support. The re-
mote control will then be ready for operation.
When pressing a button, always point the re-
mote control at the IR sensor located behind the
protective grille of the bass speaker. Make sure
that there are no obstacles between the sensor
and the remote control.
Replacing the battery
1) Push the latch of the battery holder to the
right (arrow 1 in figure below) and remove
the holder (arrow 2).
2) Remove the discharged battery and insert the
new battery (3 V button cell of type CR 2025)
with the positive pole facing upwards.
3) Push the holder back into the remote control.
