SECONDARY SHAFT
5. Install:
• Secondary shaft slide & holder 1
NOTE:
• This procedure does not require the use of the
collar 2 included with the special tool.
• Install the end a of the secondary shaft slide &
holder 1 to the engine.
CAUTION:
Contact the secondary shaft slide & holder only
with the inner race of the bearing.
Secondary shaft slide & holder:
90890-01492, YS-01492
6. Tighten:
• Bearing collar nut 1
Ring nut wrench:
90890-01268, YU-01268
Bearing collar nut:
55 Nm (5.5 m · kg, 40 ft · lb)
NOTE:
Install the ring nut wrench 2 and then tighten the
bearing collar nut.
7. Check:
• Secondary shaft stiffness
CAUTION:
When the secondary shaft is operated in peri-
odic motion, and if its movement is heavy,
install it again correctly.
