PROBLEM
PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
Cooker doesn't turn on.
• Cooker is not plugged in. Make sure rice cooker is plugged into a properly operating electrical outlet.
Rice is not cooked.
• Not enough water/cooking liquid. Follow package directions.
• Place cooking pot securely into the base. NOTE: If cooking pot is bent or warped, it will not seat properly
• Let rice rest for 10 to 15 minutes after cooking is complete and rice cooker has switched to WARM.
Rice is mushy.
• Too much liquid added to cooking pot. Reduce liquid.
Rice cooker starts to
• Cooking pot has boiled dry. Add more water and select STEAM COOK function to continue steaming or
"beep" during
Steam Cook.
Cooking pot not fitting.
