Disconnecting the Negative Battery Cable No Parts Required Procedure 1. Position the vehicle on a level surface, stop the engine, engage the parking brake and remove the key from the ignition. 2. Remove the battery cover. 3. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. -

Plug the wire harness connectors to the new tail light connectors. 4. Mount the tail lights to the fender brackets with the fasteners previously removed (Figure 5). -
