    Chapter 3: Installtion Chapter 3: Installation Wall / Ceiling Mount The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling with or without the supplied wall mount base installed. The Composite Video Output Reset Button wall mount base is generally used for wall mount applications when the camera’s cable is not run through the mounting surface.

Make sure you use a supplied rubber O-ring in between the screws and the screw holes (as circled) to avoid moisture entering the casing. Afterwards, Rubber O-ring re-attach the camera’s top cover and secure the screws tightly with the supplied hex key.

To access the main setup page, click on the Setup button seen at the top-right location in the live view screen. Then the setup page as shown in the picture below will be displayed.

    Chapter 6: Configuration Video Preference The video preference bar provides adjustment over the interval between each "I-frame" in the compressed MPEG-4/H.264 video stream (IP55 does not support H.264 compression). In a sequence of images, there are inserted I-frames that can show the complete representation of the picture one sees at a particular moment. Between I-frames are what are called P-frames (which can be decompressed using the data from preceding frames) and B-frames (which utilizes the data from the preceding and following frames for achieving higher compression ratio).
