Install Radars
1.
Install the radar on the beam and connect cables.
Connect the radar to the RS-485 interface of the camera using the RS-485 cable. If an
M series camera is to be connected, the 12 V DC interface of the camera can be used.
If an X series camera is to be connected, independent power supply is required and the
required power supply interface is 12 V DC. The following figure shows the cable
connection.

Power cable: dual-wire
RS-485 cable: three-wire
Note:
After installing the radar, you need to commission the radar. You can use the radar commissioning software to commission the radar, including the radar's capture direction, capture
distance, communication mode, and work mode.
For details, see the Huawei SDC Standard Checkpoint Camera.

Angle and Focal Length
2.
Adjust the bubble level. When the bubble is in the center, the radar is horizontal. At
this time, record the initial title angle θ1.
Query the radar's tilt angle α according to the radar installation height and capture

direction (vehicle driving direction: leaving or approaching). For example, if the
installation height is 6 m and the capture distance is 24 m, the tilt angle for capturing
approaching vehicles is 14°.
