Please note that if any Com port option command is received by WIZ1000, at least one
"WON'T" command must sent to WIZ1000 to reboot it and apply the new value. WIZ1000 only
replies the "WILL" and request command. If a Com port option value is received by WIZ1000,
it will not reply this command but setting. Moreover, any RFC2217 compliant Telnet tool can
be used to communicate with WIZ1000. An example of using Telnet Com Port Option Client
program to communicate with WIZ1000 is shown in Figure 17. After connected with WIZ1000,
the received responses of WIZ1000 are listed in the below textbox.
