EFALOCK TRY 2
Thank you for purchasing a product from EFALOCK Professional. To ensure a proper and
safe use, please read the instructions carefully and always take into account. This manual
supplies information for the correct and safe use of the device. We hope you enjoy using
your new EFALOCK TRY 2 and that you find it pleasant to work with.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
The TRY 2 is made ready for use by inserting the plug into the socket. Adjust the step switch
(3 temperature levels, 2 speeds) to the desired power stage. You can operate the 'cold' but-
ton at the same time as any of the heat and speed settings.
CLEANING
Please note: only clean the TRY 2 when it has cooled right down! Take the mains plug out
of the socket. Wipe down the outer casing of the device with a slightly moistened cloth. Do
not let any water or other liquid trickle onto or into the device. The air intake grille on the
back side must be inspected regularly for soiling. If necessary: clean the air intake grille.
IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE:
Before using the TRY 2 it must be checked that the calibration of the electric current of the
device is compatible with the socket. Basic safety precautions must be taken when using
electrical devices – especially when children are around – including the following: All the
advice on safety should be read most carefully before use in order to limit the risk of an
electric shock.
1. Unplug the device after using it.
2. The device must not be used in the bath, in the shower, above a washbasin filled with
water or with wet hands.
3. Do not use the device near baths, washbasins or other receptacles containing water.
4. The device must not be submerged into water or other liquids.
5. Do not touch a device that has come into contact with water – unplug it immediately.

WARNING – to limit the risk of fire, death by electric shock, fire or personal injury:
1. Never leave the device unsupervised when it is switched on. Always wait until the de-
vice has cooled off.
2. Great care is necessary when the device is used with or for children or when children or
disabled persons are nearby.
3. The device must not be used for purposes for which it is not intended.
4. Do not use any individual parts that are not recommended or sold by the vendor.
5. Keep the service cable away from hot surfaces. Check frequently for damage, especially
to the points at which the cable is joined to the device and the plug. If in doubt have the
device checked by an authorised repair workshop.
6. If the device is not functioning correctly, has been dropped or damaged, or has fallen
into water – do not try to open the device yourself, but take it to a customer service
point.
7. Do not wind the service cable around the device – leave it extended.
8. If the device's mains connection cable is damaged it must, in order to avoid danger,
be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service provider or by some similarly
qualified person.
9. If the device is used in a bathroom it must be unplugged after use because the proximi-
ty of water constitutes a danger, even when the device is switched off.
10. As an additional protection we recommend the installation in the bathroom wiring sys-
tem of a residual current circuit breaker (FI) with a rated tripping current of not more
than 30 mA (Milliamperes). Ask your plumber for advice.
11. People (including children) who are not in a position to use the device safely because of
their physical, sensory or intellectual capabilities or because of their lack of experience or
knowledge should not use this device without supervision or instruction by a responsib-
le person. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
WARNING: Do not use this device near baths, washbasins or other recep-
tacles that contain water.
