    Installation and operation 5.1. Installation 5.1.1. Location  Remove the device from the packaging and discard all the packing materials.  Never remove the rating plate or any warning signs from the device.  The installation place must be easily accessible and sufficiently spacious to allow easy operation of the device and good air circulation.

    5.2. Operation 5.2.1. Important tips for optimal toast result At the same settings of the browning level, the toasting result varies depending on the different characteristics of bread (moisture, type of bread, size and thickness of the slices).  Set shorter toasting time when toasting dry, smaller or thinner slices or when toasting only one slice.

    5.2.2. Toasting NOTE It is possible to use the device only with the extended toast chute (5). The toast chute (5) locks the operating lever (1).  Use the device only with the extended toast chute to prevent the device damage or soiling.

    CAUTION - HOT SURFACE Risk of burns by hot surfaces! The surfaces remain hot after operation.  Close the toast chute (5) only when the device has cooled down completely.  You can move or transport the device when it has cooled down completely. 11.

    1. Turn the browning level controller (2) clockwise to set the right browning level 1 to 6, 2. Press the operating lever (1) down until it is locked. The toasting process begins. 3. Press the defrost button (4). The “Cancel” button (3) and “Defrost” button white indicator lights are on.

    5.2.5. Stuck bread slices Pay attention that the slices are not too thick. WARNING! Risk of fire due to stuck bread slices! The bread may start to burn.  Remove the stuck bread slices. Remove the slices of bread left in the toaster from the toast slot (7): 1.

    The device is not designed for flushing with direct water jet. Do not clean the device with use of water jet! NOTE Incorrect use may cause damage.  Never use aggressive cleaning agents to clean the device.  Never poke around with any sharp objects in the toast slot to remove bread crumbs.

    Electric devices should be used and disposed of properly to prevent the impact on the environment.  Disconnect the device from the power supply and remove the power cord from the device with the use of diagonal pliers.
