SERVICE I STRUCTIO S
i. Remove acorn nuts and inlel housing,
2.lJnscrew chopperfrom
shaft by tuming counterctockwlse
facing cuttef chopper posts, Hold moiorshafr behind chop-
perto pr€vent shaft from turning with a thin 9/32'(7 mm)
ignllion wrench.
3.Remove gaskets, wearplate and slide pump assembly of
mouniing studs.
4. Replace seal, impellergaskets
of olher parts as necessary
To remove seal, push oul evenly wilh screwdriverfrom
impeller bore side of body. To reassembly
seal, coar our-
side ofmelai case with a light coat ofsealant and press
into body wlth lip facing impeller Press slar retaining
washer (wilh concave side up) into seal borc and against
sealcase. A lighl coating ofgrease should lhen be applied
lo impeller bore and wearplateto
ajd initial dry starlup.
5. Reassemble
body, impeller, gaskels, wearplate,
cuner
plate, suclion housing and acorn nuts.
