Sound Gallery

(M 6-3)
The ringtones created using the Melody Editor and the
AMR data recorded by Voice Recorder is managed in
the handset memory or in the memory card. The default
ringtones are not contained within the handset memory.

: Original ringtone (composed in Melody Editor)
: Sound file in Standard MIDI format
: Sound file in i Melody format
: Sound file in WAVE format
: Sound file in AMR format
: Sound file in MP3 format
Note
• SMAF (Synthetic music Mobile Application Format)
is a format of music data for mobile phones.
• GX-31 supports the latest SMAF format. If the file is
edited on the GX-31 and exported in SMAF format, it
may not playback on GX-21 and GX-i98 handsets or
other handsets that support of SMAF. Please check
the handset type of your receiver before sending.
• The handset cannot download multimedia message
directly during MP3 playback. When a multimedia
message notice is received, close the MP3 before
downloading message.
• The MP3 sound file is played back by the MP3 Player
application.
Downloading Sound Files
1.
Press
to display the Main menu.
Press a, b, c or d to highlight "Gallery", then

to select.
Press a or b to highlight "Sound Gallery", then

to select.
Press a or b to highlight "Download More", then
4.

to select.
The sound file download site is displayed.
Playing Back Sounds
1.
Press
to display the Main menu.
Press a, b, c or d to highlight "Gallery", then

press
to select.
Press a or b to highlight "Sound Gallery", then
3.
press
to select.
Press a or b to highlight "Handset Memory", or
4.
"Memory card", then press
The list of Sounds is displayed.
Press a or b to highlight the sound you wish to
5.
play back, then press
to select.
The selected sound is played.
To stop playing, press
(M 6-3-3)
to select.
