Cleaning the inside of the unit
Cleaning the document feeder u n i t - - - - - - - - - -
If m1sfeed1ng occurs frequently or dirty patterns or black bands appear on a copied or transm1tted document,
clean the feeder rollers, sub roller, rubber llap, while plate and glass

Disconnect the power cord and the telephone
line cord
Slide the front lid open lever towards the fronl
to open the front lid
Clean the feeder rollers and sub roller with a
cloth moistened w1lh 1sopropyl rubbing
alcohol, and let them dry lhoroughly
Clean the rubber flap with a cotton swab
moistened with Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and
let 11 dry

Clean the white plate and the glass with a dry
sott cloth
Close the lid securely by pushing down on
both sides
Connect the power cord and telephone line

Open the lop cover
Press the green button on the right marked
"PUSH" and lift up the head unit
Clean the thermal head with a cloth

let dry thoroughly
Press the head unit down firmly until 11 clicks

Close the top cover securely by pushing
down on both sides
Connect the power cord and telephone line
