Receiving fax documents only (FAX mode) - - - - - -
When the receive mode 1s set to FAX, the unit will work only as a facs1m1le machine
The unit will automatically answer all calls and generate fax tones to the callers
Callers will hear fax tones and will only be able to transmit faxes
Setting the FAX mode ring count
This feature determines the number of nngs after which the unit answers a call 1n the FAX mode
You can choose from
1
to 4 nngs
Helpful hints
•To be able to answer a call before the unit does, increase the number of nngs
•If you find difficulty in receiving faxes from machines with an automatic transm1ss1on feature, decrease the
number of nngs
