If your vehicle's battery is
disconnected or goes dead, you may
need to set the clock.
To set the time, press the CLOCK
(AM/FM, AM) button until you hear
a beep, then release the button. The
displayed time begins to blink.
Change the hours by pressing the H
side (preset 4) of the preset button
until the numbers advance to the
desired time. Change the minutes by
pressing the M side (preset 5) of the
preset button until the numbers
advance to the desired time.
Press the CLOCK button again to
enter the set time.
You can quickly set the time to the
nearest hour. If the displayed time is
before the half hour, pressing the
CLOCK (AM/FM, AM) button until
you hear a beep, then pressing the R
(preset 3) side of the preset button
sets the clock back to the previous
hour. If the displayed time is after
the half hour, the clock sets forward
to the beginning of the next hour.
For example:
1:06 will reset to 1:00
1:52 will reset to 2:00
Setting the Clock
On A and C type audio systems
You can select the clock display
between 12 hour clock and 24 hour
clock. To switch the display, turn on
the audio system, then press the
power/volume knob for more than 2
seconds until you hear a beep. You
will see the RDS program on the
display (see page
149
). Press the
preset 6 button repeatedly to switch
between 24H (24 hour) and 12H (12
hour).
