Move the control switch to
the "Lamp" position. If
there is no immediate pro-
jection of light on your
screen, rotate the single
frame knob until a full frame
of light appears on your
screen. If the frame of light
projected on your screen is
too high or too low, grasp
the carrying handle and tilt
the front of the projector up,
while loosening the Tilt
Knob. This will release the
Tilt Leg. Center frame of
light on your screen, and
tighten the Tilt Knob.
Rotate the Focus Dial until
the edge of the frame of
light is sharp, then turn off
projector. NOTE: The grid
pattern in the frame of light
is due to a new Safety Shut-
ter that is in position when
there is no film in the pro-
jector. The grid pattern
moves out of the light path
when film is projected.

Both Super 8 and Regular 8
film leader must be trimmed
before threading into the
projector. For Super 8, place
edge of film leader in right
channel of film cutter. Reg-
ister perforations in the film
leader with the guides on
the cutter, then press the
cutter down to produce a
/
clean cut.
REGULAR 8
For Regular 8, use the left
channel of the film cutter.
Register perforations in the
film leader with the guides
on the cutter, then press
the cutter down to produce
a clean cut.
Always retri m the edge of
your film leader whenever it
shows signs of wear,
crimp-
ing, raggedness, or if the
film leader has failed to
thread.
