Receiving your machine
Note: It is probable that a third party
will deliver your machine.
Before you unpack your new machine,
you will need to first inspect the
packing, invoice and shipping documents

delivery documents and signed by you and the delivery driver. You must then
contact the seller [Laguna Tools] as soon as practical. If damage is found
after delivery, contact the seller as soon as practical.
Unpacking your mortiser:
To unpack your machine you will need tin snips, knife, screw driver [star]
and a wrench.

Using the tin snips, cut the banding [if fitted] that is securing the box.
WARNING: EXTREME CAUTION MUST BE USED BECAUSE THE
BANDING WILL SPRING AND COULD CAUSE INJURY. Then remove the
screws that secure the box to the base [row of screws around the
bottom of the box].

Lift the box off and discard. This may need two people. Or take the
box apart sheet by sheet.

Using the knife, cut the plastic wrap and remove it.

Remove the boxes on the base of the box.
Do not remove the machine from the pallet. The motor and mounting
plate are not fitted to the machine and will need to be assembled prior to
removing the machine from the pallet [This is covered latter].
